ThermalBro Project FAQs
Answers about choosing cooling products, sharing drawings, developing prototypes, machining parts and requesting a quotation. Fit, performance and delivery are confirmed for your project.
Choosing a Product and Preparing Project Inputs
Choose the family that fits your equipment and the components you need supplied. You can start a discussion before all drawings are ready. Compare product categories.
Which ThermalBro product route should I choose?
Choose CPU/GPU modules for specific processors or boards, server modules for server chassis, and workstation modules for integration into your existing workstation. Choose an integrated workstation project when the chassis, cooling and hardware configuration need to be developed together.
What can I send before a complete CAD package is ready?
For an initial review, send platform identifiers, photos or layout sketches, heat-source information, available space, interface assumptions and the question the project must answer. Controlled 2D and 3D files are still required before a final design is released.
Custom Development, Prototypes and Change Control
We agree the design, build a prototype and review test results before preparing the approved configuration for production. Review OEM engineering.
When should an NDA be discussed?
An NDA can be discussed before controlled platform files, drawings or confidential program information are transferred. The exact agreement, parties and permitted use are confirmed for the project.
Does a successful prototype mean the product is ready for mass production?
No. A prototype should answer defined fit, assembly, sealing, functional or thermal questions. Pilot production must also confirm tooling, process instructions, inspection, test records, packaging and the approved bill of materials.
Manufacturing and Product Testing
We agree the sample, test method, conditions and pass criteria for the module. Testing in the final equipment then confirms performance after integration. Review testing scope.
What does leak testing prove?
Leak testing provides evidence for the defined product, method, pressure or vacuum condition, duration and acceptance rule. It does not by itself prove lifetime sealing, system safety, thermal performance or customer-system certification.
Who validates the complete customer system?
ThermalBro can define and perform agreed component or module checks. The customer or system owner validates the complete server, workstation or equipment configuration under its real workload, environment, control and external cooling conditions.
CNC Machining and Liquid-Cooling Part Questions
Send the part drawings, material and quantity for a machining review. Include joining, assembly and testing requirements if you need these operations quoted. View CNC machining.
Can I order a custom cold plate or machined fluid part?
We can review custom cold plates and fluid parts through our drawing-based CNC machining service. For a complete cooling assembly, share the equipment and cooling requirements so we can recommend a module configuration.
Which files are required for a CNC quotation?
Provide a 3D model, a controlled 2D drawing with datums and tolerances, material and condition, critical surfaces or channels, finishing and cleaning requirements, inspection records, quantity and delivery scope. Joining or functional tests are confirmed separately.
Quotation, Timing, Delivery and Support
A quotation defines the components, engineering work, tests, quantity and delivery requirements included in your project. Open the project checklist.
How are minimum order quantity and lead time confirmed?
We confirm quantity and lead time after reviewing the design, materials, tooling and testing. Prototype, pilot and production orders have different requirements, so please share your current stage and expected volume.
What information makes quotations easier to compare?
Use one baseline for platform revision, drawings, supplied components, performance conditions, tests, records, quantity and packaging. Ask every supplier to identify assumptions, exclusions, optional items and changes that would require re-quotation.

Still Have a Project-Specific Question?
Send your question with any available platform details, drawing or photo. We will review it with the relevant engineering or manufacturing team.
